Our Motel Pet Policy

We realize that the ADA act requires that some types of trained & registered service dogs are to be accommodated when possible. But the same ADA act requires us to accommodate guests with other disabilities, such as severe allergies to microscopic pet dander which may be present in a room even after the most thorough cleaning. For this reason we have set aside five of our rooms as "pet friendly rooms".

We must be notified if you intend to bring a pet (dog) into your room.
*Failure to do this may result in your immediate eviction.*

  1. Pets are only allowed in certain rooms. Call ahead to reserve a pet friendly room.
  2. Pets are $20 USD extra.
  3. The only pets allowed in our cabins or rooms are dogs. Cats, rodents of any kind, birds and reptiles are NOT allowed in our motel rooms.
  4. Dogs are not to be left unattended in a motel room, even if it is in a dog crate.
  5. Dogs may be left alone in a cabin only if it is in a dog crate.
  6. Dogs must be leashed or carried whenever they are on motel grounds. Please walk your dog to a far corner of the property to defecate, and then pick up your dog's droppings.
  7. Litter boxes are not permitted in the rooms or cabins.
  8. Dogs should be kept quiet, especially at night so as not to disturb other guests.
    9. Any damage done to the unit you are staying in will be charged to your credit card. If you are paying cash and do not have a credit card to secure your liability we may not be able to rent you a room.
    • a. Any chewed, clawed or scratched doors, woodwork carpet or tiled floors will be charged at the going rate for a carpenter at $48.00 per hour plus materials.
    • b. Any beds, tables, or other furniture that is chewed, scratched, or urinated on will be replaced at full replacement cost.
    • c. Carpeting that is urinated or defecated on will be cleaned by a professional carpet cleaner. If the stain or odor cannot be removed you will be charged the full cost of replacement.
    • d. You will be charged the daily room rate until the unit is ready for re-use.
